The page-break-inside property is used in CSS and certain HTML elements. It adjusts page breaks inside the current element. To adjust page breaks before or after and element, use page-break-before or page-break-after.

Note: This property is not implemented in Mozilla Firefox.


  • auto - Initial value. Automatic page breaks (neither forced nor forbidden).
  • avoid - Avoid page breaks before the element.
